Working on new material for the blog!
It has taken me awhile to decide what to do with the blog. I felt lost not posting pictures of the missionaries and I've felt lost with not having my missionary routine. We are starting to settle into a different routine and I have decided to start blogging again. It will take me a little while to get things squared away but we are rolling into the next phase of our journey in life - recovery from the best experience of our lives ( the mission), knee surgery( Tim's), physical therapy for my back, and the economy with our business. We look forward to continuing our growth spiritually and preparing for what comes next!

Sister Lant and Sister Thompson Visiting Ukraine
Sister Lant (General Pres. of Primary) and Sister Thompson (General Relief Society Counselor) visited our mission on November 10th. We started out in Kharkov and visited families for Family Home Evening. The next day we visited some sisters and their families in the various branches. It was such a delight to visit with these two sisters and to visit these wonderful families. They gave a training session that Tuesday night. We traveled down to Donetsk Wedneday and that evening had another training session. These sisters have such a love for the gospel and for the people around the world they have visited. I felt so inspired and uplifted to be in their presence!

It must be a treat to have visitors like that come.
Thank you for all the service you are giving. We pray for you and our missionaries all the time!
How exciting to be able to meet with such amazing women.
I admire these women greatly. How special for them and for you to meet with the Ukrainian families and see the gospel in action.
Hi, I served in Kharkov in '97 and '98. That last picture of the family, is the dad's name Leonid? I can't remember their last name, but I remember teaching them a few discussions then I was transfered or something, then when I came back in 2001 to visit, he was branch president or something. Anyway, how many kids do they have?, because I remember at least three when I was there, so they would have to be older than some of them in the picture.
