Coming Home July 2011

"TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON AND A TIME UNDER THE HEAVEN." ECCLESIASTES 3:1

Working on new material for the blog!

It has taken me awhile to decide what to do with the blog. I felt lost not posting pictures of the missionaries and I've felt lost with not having my missionary routine. We are starting to settle into a different routine and I have decided to start blogging again. It will take me a little while to get things squared away but we are rolling into the next phase of our journey in life - recovery from the best experience of our lives ( the mission), knee surgery( Tim's), physical therapy for my back, and the economy with our business. We look forward to continuing our growth spiritually and preparing for what comes next!

Sending two more Missionaries to the MTC

Lubov and Yanna both left for the MTC
Lubov and friends say goodbye
Yanna, accompanied by her mom and sister, came from Mariupol ( 2 hours south of Donetsk). Yanna will serve in the Russia, Novasabertsk Mission. Her mom and sister are not members. President Fry set Yanna apart and you could tell that the spirit had touched them both. Yanna's sister said she'd never heard such beautiful words before. She is now meeting with the missionaries.
Lubov and her family. Lubov means "love" in Russian. Her family are members of the Church. They are from Makevka. Lubov will serve in the Ykatrineburg Mission in Russia. Makevka is about a half an hour from Donetsk. Lubov's mom is the Young Women's District President. We have become good friends. She is an excellent seamstress and has done some sewing for me.
Lubov's family and friends that came to the setting apart.

How wonderful for Lubov. She will love the Ykaterinburg mission. Our friends, the McEvoys are serving there. They have a blog and will probably show Lubov's picture at some time. It is http://russiamission.blogspot.com/

Maybe her parents would like to check it out. :)
