Coming Home July 2011

"TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON AND A TIME UNDER THE HEAVEN." ECCLESIASTES 3:1

Working on new material for the blog!

It has taken me awhile to decide what to do with the blog. I felt lost not posting pictures of the missionaries and I've felt lost with not having my missionary routine. We are starting to settle into a different routine and I have decided to start blogging again. It will take me a little while to get things squared away but we are rolling into the next phase of our journey in life - recovery from the best experience of our lives ( the mission), knee surgery( Tim's), physical therapy for my back, and the economy with our business. We look forward to continuing our growth spiritually and preparing for what comes next!

Kyiv Temple Dedication August 29, 2010

The Kyiv Temple Dedication on August 29, 2010. They came by the bus loads!!!

They walked and walked and walked.

They came to listen to a Prophet's voice and hear the word of God.

They came to feel the spirit and witness this choice event.
This was a great gathering. The cultural event the night before was spactacular! Many of the members went and participated and it was exciting to see them do so.
The youth enjoyed the Dedication also. It has been a great experience to get to know these young women.
Elder Richardson taking a picture of Elder Clarkstone, Elder Lott and some members in their branch that came to the Dedication.
It was so wonderful to see the faces of the Saints as they came out of the first session of the Dedication. They are so happy to have a Temple here in Ukraine!! Their lives are being so blessed! We really love the people and it was so touching to be with them on this happy occasion!

Thank you for the photos and the information. I served in Donetsk five years ago. I noticed a man I taught and baptized in the third photo (the big man with the beard, Max).

If you receive this note, please tell Max hello from "Hislop." I would really, really appreciate that. Let him know I, nor my companions, have not forgotten about him. I have lost contact with him. If it's possible to get his contact information, that would be wonderful too.

Thank you so much for your service!
