Coming Home July 2011

"TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON AND A TIME UNDER THE HEAVEN." ECCLESIASTES 3:1

Working on new material for the blog!

It has taken me awhile to decide what to do with the blog. I felt lost not posting pictures of the missionaries and I've felt lost with not having my missionary routine. We are starting to settle into a different routine and I have decided to start blogging again. It will take me a little while to get things squared away but we are rolling into the next phase of our journey in life - recovery from the best experience of our lives ( the mission), knee surgery( Tim's), physical therapy for my back, and the economy with our business. We look forward to continuing our growth spiritually and preparing for what comes next!

Twins!!!!

They are finally here! Born June 29, 2009 exactly one year to the date that we entered Donetsk Ukraine. Ava Shae and Mya Lee Garrett. Ava was 6lbs 8oz. and Mya was 5lbs 12oz. Both very healthy. Mom and Dad are doing great as well as big brother Lucas and big sister Kate and all Aunts and Uncles and cousins! Grandma and Grandpa are happy they have arrived safe and sound but so sad to not hold them. We are so grateful that all went well with the delivery and pregnancy. Two precious souls sent from heaven above bringing to earth lots of joy and love!

This is so precious! These little ones are so adorable...I am so happy for you! Our first grand babies are twins, Kira & Christian. It's so fun to watch them take such good care of each other. There definitely is a very special connection between them.

Congratulations on the twins!! We saw your daughter at Louis's farewell. She looked so cute and totally all baby. She was totally sweet to us and we could tell how proud she was of the both of you. Just want to thank-you for doing this blog. It is neat to see all that you are accomplishing there. Colt left today to join your mission family, and we are so excited for him. The pictures of Ukraine are incrediable! He is excited to finally get to Ukraine and learn all over again. Thanks again! Congrats again on the twins!

I am so happy that the twins are here and that everyone is doing great. I know this is a hard time away from family but I am certain the lord will bless you for all you are doing for the people of Ukraine and our awesome missionaries. Blessings to you both.
